Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, lifestyle, and nutritional evaluations to develop tailored treatment strategies.
- Provide safe and effective naturopathic therapies such as botanical medicine, nutritional counseling, acupuncture, and physical medicine.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care and optimal health outcomes.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and natural healing techniques to empower informed decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies.
- Stay current with advancements in naturopathic medicine by engaging in ongoing professional development and research.
- Support pediatric patients by applying specialized knowledge of pediatrics to create age-appropriate treatment plans that prioritize safety and comfort.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Naturopathic Doctor in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical assessment techniques.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills and empathy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
