Client is seeking a highly motivated candidate for a Contract Software Developer position for a period of 6 months in Global Banking Application Development within ISG. This is a contract role based in Mississauga. Job Background/context:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting solutions developed using Microsoft .NET C#, ASP.NET, MVC, MS SQL Server, AngularJS, HTML5 and related technologies.

This role will be focused in particular on development and support of modules for the F9 project.

Key Responsibilities

- Interaction with team lead to understand the business requirements
- Produce high quality Technical & Release documents
- Design & develop solutions using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, AngularJS, HTML5, MS SQL Server and related technologies
- Provide technical walk-throughs to various stake holders (QA Team, UAT Team, etc.)
- Be able to work independently as well as within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a plus

Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience

- Experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation (all phases of software development life cycle - SDLC)
- Very strong working experience with Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server)
- Strong object oriented programming and .NET design fundamentals
- Experience with Aspose Cell, Aspose Live, Angular JS and SSIS will be a plus
- Some understanding of financial industry is an asset
- Excellent functional, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

Skills

- 5-10 years of working experience in developing using Microsoft technologies
- Experience in creating technical design documents, including data modelling and flow diagrams.
- Ability to write, tune SQL queries on MS SQL Server.
- Experience with building multi-browser compatible web applications using HTML5 technologies.

Qualifications

- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science. Competencies
