Job Title: Network Engineer (AI/ML Exposure)

Infosys // Cisco is seeking experienced Network Engineers with exposure to AI/ML to support enterprise networking diagnostics, model evaluation, and technical data creation. Engineers will collaborate with data science teams to validate AI-generated outputs, create expert troubleshooting steps, and contribute domain knowledge to train next-generation networking intelligence models.

Required Skills

- Expert-level knowledge of enterprise networking, Cisco routing & switching

- Robust troubleshooting skills for complex network issues & RCA

- Proficiency with Cisco CLI ("show” commands, diagnostics)

- Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, ThousandEyes, Splunk

- Experience documenting detailed technical solutions & recommendations





- Working knowledge of Python, automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)

- Understanding of software defects, bug impacts, and multi-vendor environments

- Ability to create and annotate training/evaluation datasets for ML/GenAI

Role Responsibilities

- Validate AI/ML model outputs for accuracy and technical correctness

- Provide expert troubleshooting steps, recommendations, and impact statements

- Create realistic training scenarios for network issues

- Review diagnostic data & problem statements for completeness

- Document findings and maintain quality of annotated datasets

- Collaborate with engineers, project managers & data scientists
