Contribute to enriching youth experiences as an On-Call Child and Youth Support Worker with the Department of Huuḥtakšiiḥinʔaała. Lead engaging programs while ensuring a protected environment for ages 7-16. This on-call role involves supporting after-school programs, Pro-D Day activities, and seasonal camps.
Candidates will deliver age-appropriate programming, model positive relationships, and ensure safety. Strong interpersonal skills and experience in group settings are essential for this vibrant position. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise dynamic youth programming
- Ensure safety and positive engagement in activities
- Respond effectively to first aid and safety concerns
- Model healthy lifestyles and respectful communication
- Organize materials and program spaces efficiently Requirements:
- Responsible Adult Certification preferred
- Experience with children in group settings
- Familiarity with diverse learning styles
- Valid First Aid/CPR-C certification
