District 71 is seeking a part time Online Learning Counsellor for grades 10-12. You will provide essential mental health guidance, lead workshops on anxiety strategies, and develop IEPs for students. Collaborate with educational partners to ensure effective transitions for students while supporting their overall development. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health support in diverse formats
- Lead classes on mindfulness and coping strategies
- Manage behavior and mental health IEPs
- Assist with community transitions and job readiness programs
- Liaise with schools for graduation and registration processes Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in educational counselling or psychology
- Secondary counselling experience (grades 10-12)
- Proficient with online tools like Brightspace and Zoom
- Training in adult education practices
- Experience aiding adults in graduation pathways Support and empower students as they navigate their learning journey with School District 71.
