- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyewear based on their prescription and style preferences
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyewear
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and other enhancements available for their eyewear
- Process orders for eyewear, including verifying insurance coverage and submitting claims for reimbursement
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and organized records of customer prescriptions, orders, and payments
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in eyewear fashion and technology
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an optician or in a similar role preferred
- Robust knowledge of medical billing systems and retail math
- Familiarity with medical records management and retail management software (e.g., Epic)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately measure and fit eyewear
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for maintaining cleanliness of eyewear and equipment
Note: Senior care experience is a plus but not required. We offer competitive pay based on experience.
