Duration: 6 Months We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Oracle databases and a strong understanding of related technologies. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our database systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered:
- 8-10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle DBA.
- Experience in financial services IT environments.
- Broad knowledge of IP networking concepts, including routers and firewalls.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Nice-to-have skills but are not required:
- SQL Server Certification.
- Experience with MongoDB, Sybase,
and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Oracle Recovery appliance - ZDLRA.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Key tasks and expectations for the role:
- Install, configure, and migrate Oracle DB backups from DDBOOST to Oracle Recovery appliance - ZDLRA.
- Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of Oracle databases.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration and operation of database systems.
