Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and efficient environment. This role involves performing dental cleanings, patient education, and assisting with various dental procedures. The position offers an opportunity to work in a modern clinic with a focus on patient comfort and health.

Responsibilities

- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing of patients’ teeth
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software
- Manage patient scheduling, recall appointments, and follow-up communications
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication




- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice
- Experience with Akitu One or similar dental management software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations
- Previous experience in dental assisting or a clinical setting is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend availability

This role offers an engaging work environment focused on delivering high-quality dental care while supporting skilled growth within the field. Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
