We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life of our clients. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and providing companionship to those in need.

This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours. There is a potential for the position to become permanent part time/full time and priority will be given to internal candidates. Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Support meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Maintain cleanliness in living areas, including laundry and housekeeping duties. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.

Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to nursing staff or family members. Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual needs.

Health Care Aide

Certification or Equivalency Registered with the Alberta HCA Directory. Current CPR and First Aid Certification. Up to date N95 Mask Fit testing.



Reliable vehicle and Class 5 license. Personal mobile device with data. Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Tagalog.

Experience in home care setting.

Experience in wound care, catheter care, end of life care, and operating personal medical devices and equipment. Knowledge of care practices and techniques for working with individuals with dementia, disabilities, or terminal illness. Solid communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.

Proficiency in other languages such as Creole, French, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi, etc. Compassionate demeanour with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Potentially earn up to $26.00 an hour which is the highest in the home care industry and very competitive to acute care, supportive living, and long term care pay rates!

Our hourly rates start at $18.00 based on experience with a potential additional top up of up to $5.50 an hour from the company profit sharing program. There is a minimum 2 hours per scheduled visit which reduces travel time spent during the shift. You are one on one with clients and the focus will be on spending quality time with them without having to rush.
