UBC is seeking a motivated Part-Time Research and Outreach Project Coordinator to support the Queer Trans Centre. This position emphasizes administrative and event coordination skills within a collaborative research environment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the Queer Trans Centre for Radical Praxis at UBC, focusing on interdisciplinary research and community engagement.
As a part time coordinator, you'll manage timelines, budgets, and contribute to event logistics. This position aids in connecting diverse perspectives through workshops, seminars, and public events while fostering a collaborative atmosphere among UBC students and community members. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for programs and events
- Maintain contact lists and update project calendars
- Coordinate meeting logistics and travel arrangements
- Generate project correspondence and promotional materials
- Assist with budget management and financial accounting Requirements:
- High School diploma plus one year post-secondary education
- Four years of related experience or equivalent
