Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests in person, over the phone and via email ensuring responses are given in a timely manner
- Advise customers about necessary service & routine maintenance while providing updates on progress of repair
- Complete required paperwork with accuracy according to company policies, procedures and protocols
- Remain current with product knowledge regarding parts, hardware and new equipment
- Offer expertise and knowledge on replacement parts, hardware and accessories
- Prepare work orders by detailing the unit’s problems or symptoms
- Develop repair estimates/service work quotes
- Process customer transactions (ie: invoices, returns, arrange for billing of services, collect payments)
- Review open and complete work orders for accuracy and process electronically
- Create PO’s for sublets
- Various clerical duties including photocopying, sorting/filing, etc
- Schedule customer appointments
- Executing all warranty duties and responsibilities including processing payments
- Process all transit damage claims
- Process all insurance claims and payments
- Maintain accurate inventory levels
- Order parts and accessories
- Receiving,
inspecting and ensure safe storage of parts and supplies
- Identify, catalog and organize parts within designated parts areas
- Conduct regular inventory/stock cycle counts
- Collaborate with and provide support to internal departments as needed
- Operate equipment used for testing & diagnosing issues in products and find solutions
- Diagnose and repair drone equipment with efficiency and accuracy
- Install parts and accessories
- Assemble products according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Maintain a clean tidy and organized workspace
- Follow up with manager/supervisor and other internal departments as needed
- Other duties as required and/or tasked by Manager
- Overtime may be necessary during busy seasons
Skills and Qualifications:
- Recognize the importance of building strong, lasting relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers
- Proficient with technology, computer applications, including Microsoft Office and other industry specific software programs
- Mechanically inclined
- Familiar with operations of drone equipment (considered an asset)
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Must be accountable, reliable and have good problem-solving skills
- Positive time management skills with the ability to multi-task and balance priorities
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Capable of safely lifting up to 50 lbs. on your own
- Capable of safely lifting up to 100 lbs.+ as team lift
- Good communication skills both verbal and written (fluent in English)
- Able to take direction and work as a team player
- Maintain a positive “can do” attitude
- Have great work ethic and willingness to expand industry knowledge/education
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract and satisfactory criminal record check
Education & Experience:
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience with parts and/or service (preferred)
- Experience working in Agriculture industry (preferred)
- Experience with Drones (preferred)
