Breakaway Pickleball is looking for enthusiastic coaches to support our camps and programs across Toronto and the GTA, including kids’ camps, adult intensive camps and other sessions.
Most coaches work alongside or under a lead pro. This is a great opportunity for strong players who genuinely love pickleball and enjoy helping others—even if they do not have a long formal coaching résumé. Thursday availability is especially valuable, but you do not need to be available every Thursday.
What you’ll do
- Coach or assist with kids’ and adult pickleball camps
- Teach fundamentals through drills, games and match play
- Help players build skills and confidence
- Keep sessions safe, organized, positive and fun
- Support other Breakaway programs based on availability
What we’re looking for
- Passion for pickleball; ideally a 4.0+ player
- Friendly, reliable and encouraging
- Great with kids and comfortable supporting adult players
- Coaching, teaching or camp experience is an asset
- Pickleball coaching certification is an asset, not a requirement
