We are currently seeking qualified Pipefitters to join our on-site Construction team for one month , based out of a remote camp location near Fort MacKay, Alberta. This position offers the opportunity to participate in construction on the Imperial Oil (IOL) Kearl Lake Sodium Citrate Injection Process System. The shift is planned to be 21 days on and 7 days off rotation, 10-hour days.

While the preference is to hire candidates who resides locally, fly-in, fly-out from Edmonton, Alberta or Calgary, Albertawill be available based on eligibility.

Hourly rate:



Perform all duties in a safe and productive manner according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines Select type and size of pipe required Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system Install supports, valves, piping and control systems Hydrotest system for leaks using testing equipment Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system Apprentice up to and including Journeyperson Red Seal level Strong technical knowledge and proven experience in pipefitting Experience in an industrial setting required Knowledge and experience with industrial construction and operations Ability to clearly communicate with all levels of a project organization As part of the recruitment process, successful clearance of applicable pre-employment checks is required which may include Criminal Background/Police Information check, Drug & Alcohol test, Reference checks as well as submittal of Provincial Driver’s Abstract.
