MatrixHR is recruiting experienced Journeyperson Pipefitters for a long-term, full-time marine/industrial project. This chance offers consistent, rewarding work in a highly organized and safety-focused environment.

Referral Bonus! We are pleased to offer a referral bonus of $200 for each individual referred to MatrixHR who is successfully hired for this project. To be eligible for the referral payment, the referred candidate must complete a minimum of one week of work on our payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain complex piping systems
- Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and technical specifications
- Fabricate and fit piping using various materials including copper, stainless steel, and carbon steel
- Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing of piping systems
- Collaborate with other trades and mentor apprentices to meet project timelines and maintain quality standards
- Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations

Qualifications:





- Red Seal or valid Journeyperson Pipefitter certification (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in an industrial, commercial, or marine environment
- Proficient in pipefitting tools, equipment, and techniques
- Strong knowledge of marine piping systems
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Valid safety certifications including:
- Confined Space
- Fall Protection
- WHMIS

Additional Requirements:

- Must be eligible to work in Canada and have lived in Canada for the past five years (required for security clearance)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment physical assessment
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and a fit-tested respirator
- Must be comfortable working in confined spaces
- Daily commute to the job site is required
- Successful candidates must obtain government security clearance
