Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistent taste and presentation
- Handle food ingredients safely, following all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various menu items
- Operate kitchen equipment efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and other cooking tools
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and cooking surfaces
- Support food service operations by managing timely pizza assembly and delivery to customers or servers
- Follow all health regulations related to food handling and safety to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen roles with a focus on pizza or similar cuisine
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent skills in meal preparation and food service to deliver prompt, quality dishes
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable
- Valuable understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles
- Attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness standards
