Overview Privacy Counsel advises on data protection laws and compliance.

Responsibilities

- Advise on data privacy laws: Provide guidance on GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.
- Develop privacy policies: Design and implement data protection policies and compliance programs.
- Conduct impact assessments: Evaluate projects' privacy risks and implement controls.
- Review contracts: Draft and review privacy provisions in contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal counsel during breaches: Support incident response and communication with regulators.
- Represent the organization: Engage with regulators and external parties to ensure compliance.
- Stay updated: Monitor evolving privacy laws and adapt policies accordingly.

Qualifications

- JD and specialization in privacy or cybersecurity law.
- Experience with international privacy frameworks.
