SITE ENGINEER 3 Month Contract Peterborough Our Client has a requirement for a Site Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Peterborough. Role Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure construction projects are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with design specifications and project requirements. The Site Engineer will provide technical guidance, coordinate site activities, maintain compliance with health and safety standards, and support the successful delivery of infrastructure works. Job Role Responsibilities
Managing site and technology engineers and working closely with all delivery team members. Ensuring designated workstreams are correctly set out on site and permits to work are in place for all activities. Ensuring site surveys and records are completed and provided as required. Working with Project Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors and Suppliers to coordinate, develop and review secure system compliance and daily site processes.
Maintaining accurate records through daily diaries, production control schedules and photographic evidence. Reviewing drawings and raising technical queries with the design team. Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of infrastructure projects. Promoting high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance across site activities. Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications
Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects in a site engineering role. Ability and willingness to mentor, guide and develop junior staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Civil Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, BEng, MEng, BSc or MSc). SMSTS. Experience working on a similar infrastructure project. Appointed Person / Lifting Operations training.
