The Chance:

We’re looking for a talented and driven Senior Architectural Technologist to join our growing Toronto team. Our office is involved in a broad and dynamic range of projects, including commercial, mixed-use, retail, industrial, hospitality, public, and healthcare developments. Working closely with Project Managers, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering thoughtful, accurate, and high-quality technical documentation.

Beyond project delivery, we’re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating with others, and sharing their expertise . You’ll have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, influence how projects come together, and make a meaningful impact on both our work and our growing Toronto studio. Healthcare projects experience is required.

Heres what you’ll be doing at Kasian:

• Prepare cartoon sets and production plans; oversee production management and reporting functions
• Lead, develop, prepare, and review Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specifications
• Lead, develop, prepare, and review Contract Documents (CD) and specifications
• Ensure coordination of consultant documentation with respect to project criteria, client program, drawings, and specifications
• Perform Contract Administration (CA) duties in collaboration with the Contract Administrator
• Direct the preparation of tender documents
• Direct the research and compilation of construction materials
• Direct the assembly, circulation, and filing of project documents
• Chair production meetings
• Perform code and bylaw analysis
• Perform Quality Control procedures
• Coordinate with and review the work of consultants
• Collaborate with authorities having jurisdiction
• Actively manage project fee budgets and costs to ensure project profitability and prepare reports as required; draft fee agreements and contracts
• Approve and control all time spent on projects, expenses, and consultant invoices
• Provide mentorship,

Here is what you bring to Kasian:

• Minimum 8-10 years of local experience as an architectural technologist
• Skilled at working on drawing production and quality control of technical documents
• Advanced Revit proficiency , including model management and documentation workflows
• Familiarity with tendering phase requirements, reviewing documents, and supporting bid processes
• Strong eye for detailing and technical precision, with a focus on constructability and building code compliance
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness

Salary starts at $90,000+ per annum, based on a 40-hour work week. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, and skill set.
