We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, employee assistance programs, company discounts, perks and more for most full-time positions!Start your phenomenal career with Allied Universal today!Job DescriptionAllied Universal is seekingParking Enforcement Officersin Winnipeg, Manitoba.Job Title: Parking Enforcement OfficerJob Location: Winnipeg, ManitobaJob Type: Full-timePay Rate: $16.50 per hourShifts: Monday - Friday 0800-1630; 1100-1930OVERVIEW:Allied Universal is seekingParking Enforcement Officersto oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Winnipeg.RESPONSIBILITIES:Apply thorough knowledge of all parking regulations, by‑laws and procedures and enforce them through the issuance of a Parking Offence Notice (PON) in accordance with the policies of the Parking AuthorityConduct routine patrols of designated parking areas, streets, and public spaces to monitor compliance with parking regulationsIssue parking citations or tickets to vehicles that violate parking regulations, such as parking in restricted zones, expired meters, or unauthorized spacesProvide information to the public regarding parking regulations, restrictions, and enforcement procedures through communication with motorists and the distribution of informational materialsRespond to complaints from residents, businesses, or other agencies regarding parking violations, illegally parked vehicles, or other related issuesCoordinate with towing companies or authorities to remove vehicles that are parked illegally, abandoned,



or pose a hazard to public safetyMaintain accurate records of parking violations, citations issued, and enforcement actions taken, including photographs or documentation as necessaryProvide testimony and evidence in court proceedings related to parking violations and enforcement actionsResolve disputes or conflicts related to parking violations through effective communication and mediation with motorists and stakeholdersCollaborate with other law enforcement agencies, traffic engineers, transportation departments, and municipal officials to address parking-related issues and improve enforcement strategiesRecord and report daily statisticsQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 25 years of age for driving positionMinimum of Class 5 Full Driver’s LicenseMinimum of one (1) year of driving experience in CanadaKnowledge of parking regulations, traffic laws, and enforcement procedures.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAble to work independently with minimal direct supervisionAble to utilize sound judgment in enforcing parking regulationsDetail‑oriented with proficient record‑keeping abilitiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):Previous experience in law enforcement, parking enforcement, or a related field preferred.PERKS:Opportunities for career growth and advancement.Comprehensive health and dental benefitsPaid training and development programs.DISCLAIMER:As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
