This Engineering/Development co-op internship at MKS Instruments offers a unique opportunity to engage with advanced technology in the OSP division. You will support the development of high-performance temperature and position sensing technologies. Interns will report to the Principal Optical Engineer while participating in meaningful projects and networking opportunities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and analyze experiments for sensing technologies • Develop test equipment for validation and calibration • Maintain comprehensive test documentation • Utilize statistical software for data analysis • Collaborate with engineers in various projects
Requirements: • Enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or Physics • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Familiarity with hardware and lab equipment • Proficiency in Python, LabView, or MATLAB • Available from January to April 2026
