Production Supervisor Reports To: Production Manager

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Position Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations within their assigned department. This role is accountable for achieving safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets through strong leadership, workforce management, and continuous improvement. The Supervisor drives performance, develops team capability, and ensures production execution aligns with company objectives.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

Safety Leadership Model and maintain a protected, compliant workplace.

Enforce safety policies and promote hazard awareness.

Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.

Ensure equipment is operated safely and according to standards. Production &

- Delivery Performance Execute daily production plans to meet output and on-time delivery targets.

Monitor workflows, staffing, and capacity to achieve schedule adherence.

Proactively identify and escalate risks that may impact service.

Adjust resources and priorities in response to changing production demands. Efficiency &

- Cost Control Drive labor utilization, throughput, and efficiency metrics.

Monitor performance data and address gaps proactively.

Minimize overtime, scrap, downtime, and rework.

Manage the cost implications of operational decisions.

Quality Ownership

Ensure compliance with quality standards and work instructions.

Support root cause analysis for non‑conformances and customer issues.





Work cross-functionally to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Reinforce accountability for workmanship and product standards. Team Leadership &

- Development Supervise, coach, and develop production employees.

Manage attendance, discipline, and employee relations in alignment with company policies.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and open communication.

Continuous Improvement

Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and lead improvement efforts.

Participate in lean initiatives and process optimization activities, while encouraging employee involvement with problem-solving. Equipment &

- Resource Management Ensure machinery and equipment are properly utilized. Communication &
- Reporting Communicate production results, issues, and resource needs.

Collaborate with Management, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to meet operational goals.

The ideal candidate for this position will have: Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.

Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-mix production environment.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems.

Demonstrated ability to analyze production KPIs and drive performance improvement.

Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage shifting priorities.
