We’re currently looking for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER to join our Kingston team. What does working at the Kingston location mean? Contact with the Barrie office will largely be virtual except for initial onboarding, periodic visits to Barrie for company events, and if otherwise decided on as a Team. You're an independent worker (you'll be the solo Mechanical team member in Kingston), though this does not mean unsupported! There is daily contact with the Barrie team via Teams, email, phone, and inclusion in meetings and team conversations. What will you be doing in this role? Lead the successful planning, design, execution, and completion of mechanical engineering projects for our clients - with a strong focus on quality, cost-effective delivery, safety, and compliance. Act as Project Lead and/or Technical Lead on single- and multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Provide technical expertise, guidance, training, and mentorship to our design team. Write proposals, project abstracts, and technical reports.



Develop business relationships to help grow our local client base in Kingston. Uphold our Company Values, building robust client relationships and contributing to the Company's continued growth and success. What will help you succeed in this role? P.Eng. designation with PEO; other provincial registrations considered an asset. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a focus in Mechanical Engineering. 8+ years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Engineer, within an engineering consulting firm considered an asset. Design experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression systems. Leadership experience. Experience with industrial, commercial, and/or residential building design is considered an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Revit, Carrier HAP, and AutoCAD. Strong working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards, including the Ontario Building Code.
