We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support construction and project operations across the United States. You will work closely with the Project Manager, field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and office staff to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle.
- Help with project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Prepare and maintain project documents, safety records, quality records, training records, and close-out packages.
- Read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Complete quantity and material take-offs.
- Coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
- Track project progress and provide updates to the Project Manager.
- Prepare and track change orders.
- Assist with purchasing, obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating material deliveries.
- Assist with subcontract agreements and administration.
- Maintain project records, logs, and documentation.
- Support project budgeting, reporting, and forecasting.
- Use Bluebeam and Microsoft Office to support project activities.
- Travel to U.S. job sites when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. An equivalent diploma and relevant experience may also be considered.
- At least 2 years of experience in construction project coordination or project administration.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) .
- Basic knowledge of Bluebeam .
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Valid passport and ability to travel to the United States.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to U.S. project locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in utility construction, energy, geotechnical, drilling, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with project management software and cost-tracking systems.
- Knowledge of U.S. construction documentation and subcontract administration.
Work Location Ancaster, Ontario , with occasional travel to U.S. project sites.
The role may involve extended stays in the United States, and candidates should be open to potential future relocation to the U.S. as operations expand.
