We are growing and are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Surrey. AWP has been working with grocery, convenience, and pharmacy retailers to solve merchandising challenges since 1953. Our team combines in-depth research with front-line retail experience to anticipate and meet the needs of our clients and their business practices. This role oversees a variety of projects, monitoring progress, reporting variances and acting as liaison among stakeholders.
Takes awarded projects from the Sales team and begins the process of ensuring Items and COs are entered in Infor for production processing and tracking; Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and within scope. Tracks and analyzes projects’ performance and expenditures and reports variances to management. Assists in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Works with resource management on resource planning, availability and allocation for projects. Translates project requirements into tasks, schedules and assigns tasks. Communicates to management changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
Tracks and analyzes project performance, cost performance, schedule and reports result to management. Reports and escalates to management as needed. Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
Closes project and documentation, passes project deliverables to operations. Carries out other related tasks and projects as required.
Project
Management certification is an asset Experience: At least 3 years project coordination preferably in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with standard Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.) Strategic thinking/planning ability with a demonstrated track record in problem solving as well as seeking and creating solutions to challenges Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent writing, proofreading, editing skills Monday – Friday, adaptable start time (8.5hr shift) Shared office space Flexible Start/Finish Times: We understand the importance of work-life balance.
