As a crucial part of the Ontario SPCA team, the Animal Care Attendant (ACA) position requires an experienced individual who is dedicated to enhancing animal lives. You will ensure a clean and healthy environment and foster relationships with both animals and clients. Providing care, comfort, and compassion is at the heart of our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Feed, exercise, and enrich animals daily
• Maintain cleanliness through housekeeping and disinfection
• Support animal health with vaccinations and grooming
• Keep accurate client records and notify supervisors
• Promote the center on social media and participate in fundraising
Requirements:
• Experience lifting 40 lbs and controlling 100 lbs
• Valid G driver’s license with explicit abstract
• Open availability, including weekends and holidays
• Certificate or diploma in Animal Care preferred
• Customer service experience an asset
