Title: Project Manager Cloud Solutions

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Type: Hybrid (37.5 hours per week)

Location: Ottawa, ON, Canada

Payrate: C$80- 100/hr.

Introduction

This role involves coordinating and supporting the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security requirements, and governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- University degree or college diploma in information technology, project management, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of recent demonstrated work experience delivering IT infrastructure, network security, cyber security, or technology transformation.
- A minimum of five (5) years of recent demonstrated work experience as a Senior Project Management Specialist overseeing a project for the definition and implementation of infrastructure modernization, cyber security, and/or technology transformation, in a complex setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of PMBOK project management principles, processes, tools, and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing project risks, issues, dependencies, and impacts, and developing data-driven recommendations to support project objectives and governance decisions.




- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior management, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog management activities.
- Experience in coordinating release management activities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource assignments to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Manage projects through all lifecycle phases, ensuring milestones, and targets are met.
- Monitor and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions, implementing corrective actions as required.
- Prepare and maintain project status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Engage stakeholders, clients, and business partners to gather requirements, resolve issues, and support successful project outcomes.
