Position: Project Manager (heavy Industrial)

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for end-to-end management of industrial construction projects across multiple contract formats (lump sum, design-build, cost-plus, etc.). Youll ensure safe, on-budget, on-schedule delivery while maintaining strong client relationships and building team cohesion.

What You Bring:

- Minimum 5 years of experience managing industrial or general construction projects ($5M$20M), within heavy industry and eartwork related projects
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, contract administration, and risk management.




- Familiarity with HeavyBid, HeavyJob, and other estimating/project tools is an asset.
- Local subcontractor and supplier relationships in the Thompson-Okanagan area are an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead all phases of project delivery including start-up, scheduling, procurement, execution, and closeout.
- Oversee site conditions, scope changes, cost controls, and client reporting.
- Direct and mentor field teams including Project Coordinators, Superintendents, and Safety Advisors
- Manage subcontractor relationships, procurement, and compliance.
- Monitor and report on project financials, change orders, and invoicing.
- Collaborate across departments and ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.
