- Adjust property claims actively while maximizing business development opportunities - Market and follow up on opportunities in a timely manner - Contact and follow up promptly with policyholders and claimants - Investigate claim causes and report findings and recommendations to clients - Use supplied technology, including Docusketch, to scope damages and establish quantum - Identify exposures and recommend reserves and required investigations - Prepare action plans and negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements - Provide high-level customer service to clients and insured parties throughout the claims process - Participate in after-hours customer service when required - Perform assigned duties in compliance with established work standards, policies, and procedures - Support field requests across the Hamilton, Burlington, Niagara, and Haldimand/Norfolk areas Requirements - Completion of high school education - University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneDrive - At least 5–10 years’ relevant experience in claims adjusting - Ongoing commitment to education and learning - Ontario licensing required; multi-jurisdictional licensing is an asset - Effective analytical skills,
