Lead the management of community housing as a Property Manager at SȾÁUTW̱ First Nation. This full time position focuses on tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and inspections within a culturally safe framework. In this two-year term role, you will report to the Housing Manager, ensuring effective tenancy administration and communication with tenants.
Your responsibilities will include rent tracking, addressing maintenance concerns, and coordinating repairs timely. Collaborate with various departments and community members to uphold the dignity and safety of housing. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily housing matters and tenant communications
- Conduct and coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, and inspections
- Monitor rent payments and keep accurate tenant records
- Oversee move-ins,
move-outs, and changes in occupancy
- Address tenant concerns while escalating urgent matters to management Requirements:
- Diploma or experience in property management or related field
- Experience with residential properties and tenant relations
- Knowledge of housing policies and operational practices
- Understanding of First Nations or community-based services
