SUMMARYReporting to the Planning Director, the Planner/Scheduler will support the pursuit and operations teams in estimating and planning various contracts. This role is an exciting opportunity to join and learn from an established planning team. The ideal candidate will have field experience in the transportation industry and strong communication skills. While experience in scheduling is considered an asset, this position also offers an opportunity for individuals currently working on site (e.G., coordinators, engineers, laborers) to transition into Planning and Scheduling.PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLEReview contract documents, drawings, specifications and all relevant project documentation.Plan and establish milestones for projects.Review project work activities to ensure support of project milestones.Work with the Project Team to develop bid & baseline schedules for multi‑year projects in Primavera P6, resource loaded at activity level, ensuring constructability and integrity of the project schedule.Identify key project milestones, constraints, stakeholder requirements and other contractual obligations.Conduct regular analysis of the critical path and engage with the Project Manager to advise on potential impacts, efficiencies and near‑critical items.Conduct weekly and periodic progress meetings with site management to gather information and discuss project progress, deviations and changes.Highlight current and prospective delays in progress,



assist with mitigation and corrective actions for recovery.Work with the Commercial & Engineering team to provide comprehensive schedule inputs/outputs to support the claims management process.Gather and interpret project data from internal and external sources.Provide schedule assistance to site and multidisciplinary teams to identify the appropriate period or season to execute works, minimizing impact to seasonal and environmental constraints.Identify schedule considerations and problems resulting from interdisciplinary or group restraints and interfaces.Assist in monitoring, reviewing and analyzing the schedule and status during all phases of the project, including deviations and corrective actions.Analyze subcontractors' schedules, forecast and trend completion target dates, and ensure contractor plans are realistic and achievable.Report deviations accordingly.Maintain schedule forecast throughout the project life cycle by verifying schedules are updated and linked to master schedules if prepared by outside parties.Monitor and report critical path variances and schedule performance of the total project.Assist with project schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine criticality of the schedule and seek the advice of the Project Manager.Provide the Project Team with timely, informed, and up‑to‑date schedule information including trends and forecasts, and progress, schedule and planning input to weekly,
