The Job!

As the Real Estate Law Clerk , you will support real estate transactions from file opening through closing while working closely with clients and other professionals.

• Manage residential real estate files throughout the transaction process.
• Prepare and review transaction and closing documents.
• Conduct title and related property searches and organize findings.
• Gather and maintain accurate information required for transactions.
• Prepare correspondence and documentation for clients and other parties.
  
  
  
  
• Communicate with clients and provide updates throughout their matters.
• Track deadlines and ensure files are complete and organized.
• Support the legal team with day-to-day transaction requirements.

What you bring to the job

• 2+ years of relevant legal support experience
• Experience with residential real estate transactions
• Fluency in French and English, written and spoken
• Knowledge of Quebec real estate processes
• Experience working with private lenders
• Familiarity with real estate software and related systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Solid organization and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and client-service skills
• Ability to manage multiple files and priorities
