Hello,My name is Frédérique Tahon, Recruitment Director at FED Manutech, a recruitment firm specialized in permanent and temporary placements within engineering, manufacturing and technical professions.We are currently partnering with a well-established Canadian manufacturer specializing in the design and fabrication of custom stainless-steel equipment serving the food processing, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors.MissionDue to continued growth and an increasing project pipeline, the company is looking to add a Mechanical Designer to its engineering team.Your RoleReporting to the Design Department, you will play a key role in developing and delivering custom industrial equipment projects from concept to manufacturing.Your responsibilities will include:Designing and modeling industrial equipment using Solid Edge; Producing manufacturing,assembly and detailed technical drawings; Developing customized engineering solutions based on customer requirements; Preparing technical specifications and design calculations; Updating and improving existing designs when required; Conducting occasional site visits and field measurements; Working closely with project managers,
