Manager, Private Enterprise

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Private Enterprise to lead compilation engagements and support a portfolio of owner-managed businesses within a public accounting workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and review compilation engagements for private companies, partnerships, and sole proprietorships.
- Review T2 corporate and T1 personal tax returns .
- Advise clients on accounting, tax, and planning opportunities.
- Manage engagement timelines and client relationships.
- Mentor and develop junior and senior accounting staff.
- Support business development and practice growth.

Requirements
- Canadian CPA preferred.




- 5+ years of progressive Canadian public accounting experience.
- 2+ years at the Manager level , including compilation review experience.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian private company accounting and taxation.
- Experience with CaseWare, TaxPrep, iFirm, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar software.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and live within reasonable commuting distance of Markham.

Strong asset: U.S. CPA and experience with U.S. personal tax, cross-border Canada–U.S. taxation, FBAR, 1040/1040NR, Form 8938, and related matters. Apply directly!
