Job Title: Professional Career Housekeeper Location: Victoria, BC (Gordon Head neighbourhood) Job Type: Monday to Friday; Full-time permanent.

Overview

Seeking an experienced and professional House Cleaner for our luxury, current-build property and two other smaller properties. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our House Manager to maintain a clean, organized, and functional living space for our family.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
- Keep kitchen tidy: dishwashing and managing waste sorting.
- Regular cleaning of appliances, counters, and sinks in the kitchen.
- Daily bedroom maintenance: bed making, laundry sorting, and clothes organization.
- Bathroom upkeep: cleaning toilets, mirrors, showers, and replenishing supplies.
- Handle laundry tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, folding and storage.
- Organize various home areas and general tidiness.
- Washing produce and basic food prep when needed.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, including refrigerator and cupboard cleaning.
- Exterior maintenance: sweeping grounds and garage. Special care to entrances of the house.




- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies; communicate repair needs to House Manager.
- Occasional working evening and/or weekends with advanced notice for assistance with gatherings at the house.
- Maintain awareness of cleaning supply stock and product types to maintain/protect finishings.

Requirements

- Proven house cleaning experience with reliability and strong work ethic.
- Valid Driver’s License for local errands is a plus!
- Detail-oriented, capable of working independently.
- Based in or near proper Victoria area.
- Use of eco-friendly cleaning supplies. Cleaning supplies will be provided.
- Non-smoker.
- MUST HAVE valid Work Permit.
- Positive attitude and cheerful demeanor.

Type: Full-Time Permanent – happy to potentially entertain part-time 20-30.

Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week
