POSITIONProject CoordinatorLOCATIONEskay Creek Mine, BCSTATUSFull Time Rotational –2x2CLOSING DATEJune 18, 2026SALARY$35.00 - $47.50 per hourPOSITION SUMMARYThe Project Coordinator plays a vital role in driving the successful delivery of projects at Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC). Acting as a key link between site operations and corporate teams, this role ensures accurate cost tracking, financial transparency, and smooth project coordination from start to finish.In this fast‑paced role, you’ll support critical project functions including cost tracking, LEMs, invoicing, procurement, and financial reporting—helping teams stay aligned, informed, and on budget. You’ll also contribute to forecasting, cost analysis, and change management, identifying risks early and supporting proactive decision‑making.Working closely with Project Controls, Site Teams, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Fleet, you’ll play an important role in maintaining accurate data and supporting efficient project execution across TNDC operations.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented and collaborative professional who wants to make a meaningful impact—supporting operational excellence while contributing to robust partnerships and opportunities for the Tahltan Nation.ResponsibilitiesConstruction Coordination & Field SupportAct as a liaison between field crews, subcontractors, and project teams, promoting a strong Safety First, Safety Always cultureAssist with planning and scheduling of project activities, including materials, equipment, and workforceConduct site inspections, track progress, and support compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standardsSupport quality processes (QMP), including inspections, RFIs, and NCRs,
and assist in resolving onsite issuesSystems, Cost Control & Financial CoordinationMaintain project systems, including job setup, cost codes, PO tracking, and resource databasesMonitor project costs, track expenditures, and perform basic variance analysis to identify risksSupport change management by tracking scope and cost adjustmentsCoordinate with Project Management, Payroll, AP, and Fleet to ensure accurate cost tracking and reportingLEMs, Invoicing & ReportingPrepare and submit LEMs (Labour, Equipment, Materials) in accordance with client requirementsAssist with invoicing, accruals, and reconciliation of project costsCompile weekly and monthly reports, including cost tracking, progress updates, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Support financial forecasting and validate project data within internal teams and clientsAdministration & ComplianceMaintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, logs, and reportsSupport subcontractor onboarding and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standardsUphold strong organizational practices, confidentiality, and professionalismEnsure all documentation and reporting meet audit, contractual, and regulatory requirementsQualifications2–5 years of experience in project coordination, cost tracking,
or construction (heavy civil/mining/industrial preferred)Post‑secondary education in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quicklyExperience with ERP, project management, or cost‑tracking systems (e.G., Procore, SAP, Viewpoint)Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts, and specificationsUnderstanding of construction or industrial site operations and safety practicesExperience with document control, reporting, and basic financial processesStrong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentComfortable working independently and collaboratively, including in remote/site settingsAdaptable, professional, and able to maintain confidentialityMentorship and Knowledge SharingProvide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members, especially local Tahltan workers, by sharing technical skills, safety practices, and industry knowledge in a respectful and culturally aware manner.
