Prepare

Project specific QA Plan meeting the governing QA program, the contract requirements, and the applicable standards.

Review

Project management/engineering documents to ensure QA requirements are adequately identified and applicable procedures are followed. Participate in requisition review to ensure QA requirements are adequately specified. Define and document new processes when required and contribute to process improvement when process gaps in existing procedures are identified.

Conduct audits, self-assessments and root cause analysis. Maintain regular reporting on quality performance. Provide coaching in procedural adherence and other QA matters. Plan and schedule own work with minimum supervision.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Engineering or Science with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and maintenance of quality management systems.

Experience in conducting nuclear-related audits and performing root cause analysis is considered an asset. Knowledge of QA standards applicable to design, procurement, and construction for nuclear power plants such as: CSA N286-12; Advanced computing skills with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). General knowledge of CANDU plant design.
