The Quality
Technician provides services to projects across the GTA and throughout Ontario. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role plays a key part in field testing, inspection, and sampling of construction materials to ensure quality standards and project requirements are met. Field inspection and testing of asphalt, aggregates, soils and concrete.
Field testing to include sampling, coring and compaction of various materials. Maintain accurate and complete records of testing activities. Assist in proper care, control and maintenance of testing equipment, including timely calibrations of assigned equipment.
Follow all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures. Assist when required with Geotechnical inspections and investigations. Complete reports and checklists as per company policies and/or contract requirements and advise supervisors of any non-conformances and deviations.
Assist with Laboratory testing of materials when required. Field inspection and testing of asphalt, aggregates, soils and concrete. Field testing to include sampling, coring and compaction of various materials.

The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
