Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Toronto - Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

We are seeking a talented and experienced developer to join our team. The role involves leading the integration of Gen AI into all phases of testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery across web, mobile, and API layers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5 years of qualified experience in Quality Engineering and Automation.
- Proven expertise in Web (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress), Mobile (Appium, XCUITest, etc.), and API testing (Postman, RestAssured).
- Expert-level experience with service virtualization tools like WireMock or similar.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based cross-browser and mobile testing platforms such as Perfecto, LambdaTest, or Sauce Labs.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps) and a "Quality as Code" mindset.
- Expert knowledge of Git branching and merging strategies.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience leveraging Gen AI (e.g., Copilot, Claude, or specialized QA agents) for test script generation, maintenance, and edge-case discovery.




- Experience with performance testing and production monitoring using tools like Splunk or Dynatrace.
- Familiarity with building or using autonomous agents for self-healing test suites or exploratory testing.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Lead the integration of Gen AI into all phases of testing, from automated test case generation to intelligent bug analysis.
- Own the quality strategy for Web, Mobile (iOS/Android), and API layers, ensuring a seamless multi-channel customer experience.
- Work side-by-side with developers to automate everything and architect robust test suites that run within high-frequency CI/CD pipelines.
- Leverage cloud-based testing platforms and service virtualization to enable testing in isolated, high-scale environments.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipeline enhancements through agent integration to increase deployment efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate within an Agile squad of technical and business partners.
