The Speech Language Pathology Supervisor is responsible for supervising the delivery of assessment, consultation and rehabilitation services for individuals with communication and/or swallowing disorders.

The Speech Language Pathology Supervisor is responsible for supervising the delivery of assessment, consultation and rehabilitation services for individuals with communication and/or swallowing disorders.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from a recognized university.

Registered and a member in valuable standing with the New Brunswick Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists and have progressive related work experience (1 year) in which leadership ability and competency as a speech language pathologist have been demonstrated.

Ability to attend work on a regular basis.

Ability to perform the duties of the position.

Good work record.

Key Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathology Supervisor is responsible for:

Assigning, overseeing, reviewing and evaluating service delivery

Planning,



directing and evaluating therapy programs and services

Providing staff orientation and coordinating staff development programs

Serving as a clinical practice leader

Developing and/or ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures

Coordinating or participating in student placements

Performing the work of speech language pathologist
