It is required for all jobs.Job Description And ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Operations Manager, the Processor will be responsible for processing vehicles, draining the appropriate fluids from cars, and removing non-ferrous materials.Drain the appropriate automobile fluids, such as gasoline, antifreeze, and A/C, to assist with the processing of vehiclesRemove batteries and jacks from vehiclesRemove catalytic converters from vehicles as neededRemove tires and rims from vehiclesYard maintenance, including clean up and parts disposalVehicle inventory and record keepingMaintain a clean work areaNotify appropriate personnel of any procedural abnormalitiesObserve and follow all safety rules and regulationsRequirementsHigh School diploma or CAEC/GED, or must pass a company comprehension assessmentNo experience necessary, but previous work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrap yard/auto part setting will be considered an assetLoader operator experience will be considered an assetMust have a Class 5 license to drive the yard vehicleKnowledge of automotive components is an assetAble to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, moderate to heavy lifting,
