Responsibilities

- Assist with the maintenance and repair of farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform general land management tasks such as fencing repairs, pasture upkeep, and soil maintenance.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks like loading, hauling, or land clearing under supervision.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify issues early and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Assist with livestock care including feeding, watering, and habitat maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

- Mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining farm machinery and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment when required.
- Experience with hand tools and basic maintenance tasks on farm or ranch settings.
- Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, or perform strenuous activities for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping.
