Experienced Medical Spa Receptionist

Fresh Canvas Spa & Laser Centre is seeking an experienced Medical Spa Receptionist to join our growing team!

Previous professional reception, medical office, spa, salon, wellness clinic, or comparable front-desk experience is required.

We are looking for someone who is already confident managing clients, phones, bookings, payments, scheduling and day-to-day front desk responsibilities and who can transition into the role quickly.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

- Welcoming clients and providing an exceptional front-desk experience
- Answering incoming calls, texts and client inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Scheduling, rescheduling and coordinating appointments
- Managing a busy appointment calendar and optimizing treatment schedules
- Processing payments, checking clients in and out and handling transactions accurately
- Educating clients about treatments, promotions, memberships and skincare products
- Recommending and selling skincare products and services when appropriate
- Following up with leads, inquiries and existing clients by phone or message
- Confirming appointments and assisting with schedule changes and cancellations
- Maintaining accurate client records and notes
- Supporting inventory awareness and retail product organization
- Keeping the reception and client-facing areas polished, organized and welcoming
- Communicating closely with medical aestheticians, laser technicians and management
- Handling multiple priorities calmly and professionally during busy periods

Required Qualifications:

- Strong experience handling phone calls, scheduling and client communication
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills
- Confidence discussing and selling services or retail products
- Solid computer skills and the ability to learn software quickly
- Excellent organization, time management and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask without becoming overwhelmed in a busy environment
- Professional phone etiquette
- Reliable attendance and robust punctuality
- A polished, warm and professional presence
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without requiring constant direction

Candidates with the following experience will be given priority:
- Spa, doctors clinic, physio or chiropractic clinic, dental clinic, cosmetic clinic, dermatology, plastic surgery, or wellness clinic experience
- Experience using JANE App or similar booking/scheduling software
- Experience with retail skincare or service sales
- Knowledge of treatments such as HydraFacial, laser hair removal, microneedling, chemical peels or medical-grade skincare
- Experience managing a high-volume appointment calendar
- Additional languages

JANE software training and training on our specific services and products will be provided; however, we are looking for someone who already has strong reception and client-service fundamentals.

Job Type: Full-time preferred; part-time may be considered for the right experienced candidate

Typical Hours: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Location: Surrey, BC

Compensation: Range of $19-23 hourly product sales commission employee perks
