DUTIES INCLUDE (but Are Not Limited To)
- Assists the Physiotherapist(s) in providing restorative care treatment related to strength, mobility and transfer status of the LTC residents
- Assists in developing, evaluating and providing restorative care/ recreational activities programs for the LTC residents
Salary
- $26.727 – $28.856 PER HOUR

Required Skills
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
- Current CPR
- A post‑secondary diploma, degree or certificate in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation,
kinesiology or physiotherapy/rehabilitation assistant or other related field from an Ontario post‑secondary institution
Assets
- Bilingual
- Experience working in a health care setting providing restorative care as set by a Physiotherapist
- Experience working with Point Click Care software
- Experience working in a Long-Term Care setting
- Excellent Attendance Record
Preferred Ability/Skills/Knowledge
- Demonstrated leadership, planning and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, develop and implement relevant programs to meet the needs of the residents
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act
- Knowledge of the Resident’s Bill of Rights
