Mayfair Industries Inc. (formerly CDL Mayfair Gas & Plumbing Inc.) has been servicing Prince George and Northern BC for 50 years. Located in Prince George, we are a locally owned and operated company, specializing in plumbing, heating, HVAC, electrical, and industrial projects. We are currently seeking a qualified Red Seal Plumber and Gasfitter to join our team.

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week).

The standard schedule is four 10-hour days per week, either Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday.

Out-of-town shift work is required based on project needs.

This role involves:
- Service, maintain, and repair plumbing and heating systems
- Installation of plumbing and heating systems and equipment
- Supervise small to medium projects
- Competently complete job paperwork and job wrap up
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
- Troubleshoot boilers, furnaces, and other gas equipment
- Opportunity for out-of-town shift work if desired
- Ability to gather information for estimated jobs
- Preform preventative maintenance of plumbing and HVAC systems
- Work with and mentor apprentices




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Residential, commercial, and light industrial experience preferred
- Investigate and repair leaks
- Valuable understanding of local and provincial plumbing and gas codes
- Experience with camera scoping, and locating preferred
- Willingness to work across a wide scope with other trades as required
- Maintain basic hand tools

Requirements:
- Red Seal Plumbing Ticket
- Gas B certification
- Ability to work independently to perform a variety of trade specific services, maintenance and construction duties.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and applicable national/provincial and local codes.
- Fill out paperwork after each job and accurately keep track of hours.
- May be required to perform other duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to travel for work
- Cross Connection Control Tester Certification (preferred)
- Must have a valid class 5 drivers license.
