We are looking for a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial and industrial sales across an established multi-state territory. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who enjoys developing strong partnerships, driving strategic growth, and working closely with an external sales representative network.
You'll have the opportunity to influence territory strategy, support major project opportunities, strengthen channel relationships, and help expand our presence in key commercial and industrial markets.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow sales through an established network of independent sales agencies.
- Evaluate agency performance and implement strategies to accelerate territory growth.
- Support sales representatives with product training, presentations, samples, marketing materials, and customer engagement activities.
- Negotiate pricing and oversee large project opportunities.
- Manage agency agreements, performance goals, and incentive programs.
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting using Salesforce.
- Analyze territory performance, identify trends, and develop action plans to increase market share.
- Build compelling presentations that promote our products and solutions.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Inside Sales to convert leads into business opportunities.
- Gather competitive market intelligence and recommend strategies to strengthen our market position.
- Foster strong relationships with distributors, specifiers, contractors, and channel partners.
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans while providing regular sales updates and forecasts.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7+ years of successful outside sales experience.
- Lighting specification or electrical distribution experience is preferred but not required.
- Robust presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Must reside within the assigned continental U.S. territory.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50–75%.
- U.S. work authorization required.
