Become part of the Child and Youth Mental Health team as a Registered Clinician in Timmins. This full-time position focuses on providing vital psychotherapy and support to children and adolescents up to eighteen years old. As a Registered Clinician at NEOFACS, you will be instrumental in addressing the emotional and social needs of youth and their families.
Your responsibilities will include conducting clinical assessments, offering counseling, and delivering single-session therapy amid a supportive multidisciplinary team. Your creative and resourceful approach is essential for effectively tackling mental health challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to children and youth
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments for mental health needs
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Offer single-session therapy for immediate support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation Requirements:
- Master’s degree in relevant mental health discipline
- In good standing with applicable professional regulatory colleges
- Clinical skills in children's mental health required
- Bilingual in English and French
- Valid G Class driver’s license and access to a vehicle Support child and youth mental health at NEOFACS with your skills in psychotherapy and assessment.
