Wajax is seeking a skilled Service Technician responsible for evaluating breakages and ensuring the optimal functionality of hydraulic systems. Ideal candidates will have a post-secondary degree in Mechanics or Hydraulics, with a strong working knowledge of heavy-duty tools. Responsibilities include comprehensive inspections, component repairs, and maintaining a clean work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: • Inspect and dismantle hydraulic components thoroughly • Build, repair,
and troubleshoot various hydraulic systems • Test and validate rebuilt components along set standards • Maintain cleanliness of the shop and work area • Attend monthly safety meetings and complete additional tasks as needed
Requirements: • Post-secondary degree in Mechanics or Hydraulics • Fluid Power Training is an asset • Basic machining and electrical knowledge preferred • Mechanically inclined with good communication skills • Solid service and team orientation
