The Registered
Nurse will coordinate and oversee resident-focused care delivery, reporting directly to the Director of Care. Candidates will utilize strong assessment and leadership skills to supervise healthcare team members, ensuring quality service and support for both residents and staff. A commitment to teamwork and a strong moral compass are essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized care plans based on resident health needs
- Supervise care team activities and performance evaluations
- Liaise with families, agencies, and health personnel
- Conduct unit rounds at the beginning and end of shifts
- Monitor medication administration and maintain accurate records Requirements:
- Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in long-term care preferred
- Knowledge of RAI-MDS required within first year
- CPR certification and explicit Vulnerable Sector Check
