You will work closely with the Registered Nurse and assist in guiding Personal Support Workers to ensure residents receive comprehensive care. With opportunities in a supportive environment, you’ll be able to make meaningful connections with both residents and colleagues. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement AgeCare policies alongside the Registered Nurse
- Notify physicians of significant changes in resident status
- Collaborate with the health care team to meet resident needs
- Direct Personal Support Workers in care provision
- Participate in shift reports to communicate resident updates Requirements:
- Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and acts
- Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
- Active member in valuable standing with the nursing college
