Fortis Life Sciences is hiring a full time Manufacturing Technician at our Toronto facility. Support the production of innovative blood plasma separation membranes in a dynamic environment.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll work in an eight-month contract role with potential for extension or permanence. Required qualifications include a post-secondary diploma in science and 2+ years in manufacturing or laboratory settings. Your tasks will include formulation, casting, coating, and quality inspections, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform manufacturing activities including casting and testing
• Follow SOPs and GMP standards diligently




• Document batch records accurately
• Assist with production equipment maintenance
• Prepare raw materials for membrane production
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in science or related field
• 2+ years related manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of quality systems and safety procedures
